TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE I BEGINS.........

Week 1

A SHORT GLIMPSE💗💗


As a part of our b.Ed curriculum in the third semester we have to do 40 days teaching practice in the school for this purpose me and Anthea from English optional Remya and Reshma  from Social Science optional were  assigned  at Government Higher Secondary School Kamaleshwaram. 

 
 I was alloted with 5 periods in a week. Most of them were in the morning session and I was assigned with 8th and 9th students.  I like the school and the Teachers, teachers are very cooperative and helpful. First day I met the students and introduced the myself and I asked the names and their hobbies and they the co-operate  with me very well. In this week there is same mental health and physical health in adolescence class conducted by women cell in Chala girls school it was very interesting and motivated to the students. 
Everyday we went to serve the noon meal for the students it will make us so happy. Second day I started my class ,in the beginning I feel little bit tensed after some hours I became normal and took the class , students really cooperated very well and it makes me happy. It motivates me to took the classes for the next days .
Here ends the week 1 of our teaching practice.... hope for the best😊😊😊

                              MOULDING MYSELF......😊😊😊😊  The sixth week of our teaching practice phase evoked a bittersweet sentiment, as the realization that our time was drawing to a close settled in. An emotional attachment had formed, especially between us and our students. This week brought both general and optional observations, contributing to a sense of anticipation. I undertook the task of teaching the chapter 'Tolstoy Farm,' an excerpt from Gandhiji's Autobiography. However, I didn't feel satisfied with my performance, leaving me disheartened. Yet, our tutor's encouraging words served as a source of solace, motivating me to persevere and give my best. On the subsequent day, I revisited the chapter and focused on ensuring everyone grasped the material, punctuated by interactive questioning. Their responsive participation uplifted my spirits. INNOVATIVE WORK " It's time to learn ups and downs"

 PHRASAL VERBS Today I conducted a snake and ladder game in order to teach the students Phrasal Verbs. The board, dice and the selection of Phrasal verbs and its meanings were all done by myself. The game was to roll the dice and play snake and ladder along with that one have to cross certain phrasal verbs. Whenever they climb the ladder, or swallowed by the snake the students have to repeat the phrasal verbs along with their meanings. It will be repeated through out the end of the game😀  After that, I gave them activity cards which contains exercises based on the phrasal verbs I taught.. The students did it very well. Immediate feedback were given. The students really enjoyed a lot Who said that learning can't be happen through play???😎😎😎

IT'S TIME TO SAY GOOD BYE TO MY TEACHING PRACTICE PHASE 1 Week 12

 It was the last day at our school, January 31st the last day at GHSS Kamaleswaram😔. In the initial phase I was not much attached to my students but day by day things began to change. But now, I felt very much sad after attending the farewell function conducted by the teacher from that school. They asked us to deliver a feedback soon I began to cry tears flows through my cheeks. That time I realize that I was emotionally attached with the school, the school premises with teachers and to our students. Here ends a beautiful venture💗💗💗💗
