TEACHING PRACTICE WEEK 4 (04/07/23 - 07/07/23)πππ
The week unfolded under the constant embrace of rainfall, with the weather persistently gloomy. Despite the continuous rain, the local authorities did not declare any official holidays. The start of the week offered a respite, as Monday was observed as a holiday due to St. Thomas Day. On the subsequent day, our tutor, Henna ma'am, arrived to observe our class. I was assigned the second hour for the 9 A class, prompting me to make thorough preparations. During this session, I delved into teaching a poem titled 'Bang the Drum,' crafted as a tribute to the Olympic athletes. The feedback I received was notably positive, particularly regarding my recitation skills. My students cooperated admirably, and Ma'am advised me on effective time management. She expressed her satisfaction with my class, which left me content.
In the span of the week, I concluded teaching the chapter 'Bang the Drum' and commenced the next chapter, 'Maternity,' which takes the form of a short story. Each rainfall triggered memories of my school days, evoking the beauty of those times. Overall, despite the rainy backdrop, the week proved to be a splendid one.ππππππ
